Event Material

The Americans with Disabilities Act is certainly one of the trickiest and most commonly discussed employment regulation dealt with by employers today.  Since its inception in 1990, the ADA has changed slightly and certainly shown its nuances over the years.

During the presentation, the speaker will walk attendees through the background and history of the ADA as well as clearly identify where the Act is today. The presentation will focus on labor issues regarding the ADA, with a clear picture and case study from the requisition process when seeking employees through termination.  Best practices and specific examples will be addressed and resolved.

This presentation will give you the information needed to comply with the ADA and avoid costly claims from service animal situations. Many employers are now confronting difficult ADA issues from service animals in the workplace. This program will give the you the information to know what animals qualify as service animals and how an employer can determine if an animal is really a service animal versus a comfort animal.

This session promises to be exciting and informative, if not even funny at times!
