Taylor Ivey

During his years in the military as an Ammunitions Stock Handling and Control Specialist in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, KS, Taylor was responsible for safely storing, issuing, receiving, and transporting various types of munitions, supervising a team, and providing monthly coaching and employee performance documentation.  He was also responsible for operation and assembly of the Army Combat Service Support and VSAT, a satellite communications system designed to provide worldwide data and voice communications connectivity to U.S. military forces.   During his military service, Taylor was deployed to the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) and completed a grueling special forces, French Commando course at the Commando Training Center in Arta, Djibouti.  Taylor completed various training programs: infantry tactics, land navigation, first aid, marksmanship, and leadership development for Non-Commissioned Officers.

He has worked in various capacities over the years with Results Performance Consulting, Inc. and currently serves as the Chief Millennial Consultant, routinely speaking and blogging on the subject of leadership and managing younger employees.  Taylor provides a unique perspective in his education programs, as he possesses the combination of being a Millennial, himself, as well as having managed large numbers of Millennials while serving in the military.  Taylor is now working on his aeronautical science degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and, upon completion, will return to the military as a pilot and an officer.

With Taylor’s advice and counsel, he helps HR professionals and leaders better understand what makes Millennial’s “tick,” how to connect and collaborate with younger employees, inspire them, reduce conflict, improve productivity and innovation, and reduce expensive turnover.
